It's not bad, just pointless. It's a minute-long instrumental (bar some "la la la's" sung by Neil) intro stranded in the middle of the album. And it's especially pointless, since it bridges two ballads (Numb and Luna Park) despite giving the impression that something uptempo is just around the corner.

Surely Zeus is going to revise his low 4/10 score for Luna Park... if thats the worst track on the album.. the rest is going to be spectacular !

remember this is what he said...

07.Luna Park

This is probably my least favourite track of the album. There are elements of it that I quite like but what works as a chorus, I find very, very weak. The whole thing is a bit Beatley musically. In typical PSB-trying-to-make-a-tune-less-dull, there's a middle bit that doesn't really go anywhere. 4/10

I agree with Zeus' rating of "Luna Park". It's not as strong melodically as I like, and the vocals on the chorus, well, sound strained beyond the comfort level.

If that's the worst song on the album, though, the only way is up and we're in for quite the treat.

I love the slow part right before it goes into the end instrumental where neil is singing softly. it sounded very unPSBish yet wonderfully dreamy.

To be honest, it's a good rating. "Luna Park" is not as good as some people here think.

What are you on about now? So, because you aren't as keen as others, you are right and everyone elses wrong?

Christ, i wonder what your opinion will be when you first listen to the song.

Believe me, some people don't say what they really think because of the reactions of some people against bad comments about songs.

It's a good thing we have such a courageous rebel as you to speak on the behalf of the bullied masses then.

I don't see too many differences with the Release era on that song.

What a load of toss!
Who are you to say how good something is or how anybody else thinks of it?

Hiya Joe

It does have all the makings of a grower, you're right. So far it's a no go for me... but it actually may be reversed. I'm just really big on choruses/melodies/vocals etc. Regardless, if this is the weakest link, then I think we're all going to be very happy with this album.

I don't care what anyone else thinks about the album. I'll make up my own mind.
I think people expecting another 'Very' might be disappointed but save from half the tracks on that album which were great, it was the beginning of the boys' quality threshold lowering in my opinion. Far too much cheese and not enough moody synth noodlings for my liking.
This sounds more my cup of PSB tea.

I actually hate it but because I am worried what people might think of me I have publicly said it's a 10/10 - come on Nickname, think about it.............
