Fundamental, my review

Note: Please, don't send me private messages asking for Fundamental because I'm not going to read it.

I have heard Fundamental for the first time and I have to say that if you are waiting for a disappointing review of it.......... well, you are wrong this time.

The best ever produced PSB's album. Better than Release, Nightlife, Bilingual. I'll go even more far away. My first impression with this album was much better than Very and Behaviour. Why?, because this album has different PSB points of view. If you don't like any song, with the next one you can change your mind. With the rest of the albums it didn't happen. More or less the sound was similar and this thing doesn't happen this time.

Too many ballads?, maybe but these ones are very different between them (different kind of ballads). Some people think it's a sad album, I am disagree because it's not.

According to my humble opinion (I am not going to do a preview of all the songs. Only the best ones, for me):

Schycological: As you know, it's just the same you have heard with the vocal of Neil added to it. But it's funny to see how it improves with it. And even I think it's one of the best songs of Fundamental, I really like it. If you give to the instrumental version a 6 out of 10, this version deserves two points more at least.

The Sodom And Gomorra Show: A B-side?, definitely not. For me it could be a future PSB CLASSIC, an amazing intro and a really good song and very positive. Of course it's one of the best songs of Fundamental or even the best one.

Minimal: Maybe the chorus is not as catchy as you can think in a first time but I love the last part, one of the most brilliant things of the album.

Numb: Maybe it's not the best song to be sung by Neil but it's a GREAT song, I love the beginning because it sounds like a soundtrack of a movie. Who said that it is not an epic song?, I think it is.

Casanova In Hell: It was a surprise for me, it's a LOVELY song. With a good orchestra, funny lyrics and at the end, very optimistic (one of the best songs of the album definitely).

Integral: Another PSB CLASSIC, it sounds similar to some songs of the European Festival Contest. It's vey impressive and very up-tempo.

I give to this album and 8 or maybe a 9. PSB are in fit. Thank you to everybody who has helped me to hear Fundamental (their names are secret).

yeah, but to be honest for me hearing that luna park rip was enough to get me excited again about the tracks I havent heard. its one of the most beautiful songs they have ever done IMO.

oddly release was described as a ballad CD so I was excited back then because I like their slow stuff better than their fast stuff, and now it seems fundamental which was supposed to be the return to electronica is their big beautiful CD.

its good news for me.it also seems going by the reviews the songs arent quirky, or weird, anotherwords no boy stranges or electricitys. just out and out good beautiful pop music.anyways thanks for the review.

I wouldn't have done a review of an album if I haven't heard it.

For me, it's a little bit offensive that someone can think that.

well I did think it strange nickname said at the end "Thank you to everybody who has helped me to hear Fundamental (their names are secret)". everybody---their.

as though it required some kind of complicated coordinated military operation involving mutilple teams to send him all the tracks.

ok,alpha one,meet up at ralley point 1 and drop off "integral "at site B,
beta two,at 0500 hours meet up at ralley point 2 and drop off "numb".........

less than a month! Just few weeks...I'm waiting for it since last christmas...or better since the year of "popart"!!!
