You're right...It seems like Rhino has been doing a good job recently of doing really nice reissues.

Yeah but those are legendary artists. Even if they had prior albums that floped, Barry and Rod will never be without a label and without US distrubtion (and now that they are selling albums to our grandmothers, they're doing well on that charts). Stevie Wonder has always been on Motown....if he wants to release an album, it's coming out here before anywhere else. Not sure about Queen, though.

I still think of PSB as somewhat current and their fans aren't that old. I don't think they are in the same boat as the artists you mentioned.

Maybe they could have the album on the American iTunes store. That would be nice if they can't get an American record company to distribute.

The main reason I think it will be great they do Idol is that Idol offers them national exposure/promotion and a great opportunity to be reintroduced to the American mainstream audience/listeners since Idol has like 30-over million viewers per show. This also allows them to showcase their fantastic repertoire of songs (most of which can be nicely reinterpreted in other genres and let's face it: PSB are really one-hit wonders in the US, mostly known for 'West End girls' and maybe 'Always on my mind'). If the audience/viewers like the songs, they will go out and buy the albums to hear the original versions, so I don't see how's that bad for the Boys.

Furthermore, if N&C could sit through that ghastly presentation in the I'm with stupid video, so I suppose they could tie themselves up and endure one hour of someone else butchering their songs for that kind of exposure in America which they will never get by other means of promotion.

American Idol should have a Trevor Horn night and slip some PSB songs in.

I'm going to wait for a US release and in the meantime download fundmentalism form a quasi-legal russian web site.

It's still listed as an import and the label is still EMI, which isn't happening. I would pre-order but have never pre-ordered from Cduniverse, although they seem realiable. Still, we all know that price could change when it comes closer to coming out.

Spot On! I fail to read the CD descriptions. Moreover, this doesn't seem to be the 2 CD limited edition set as advertise on page header. Looking further on the description the number of disc is showing as 1.

Deceptive advertising or are fundamental/fundamentalism both on 1 CD?
