Running order for BBC Radio 2 concert

Exclusive peek at the tracklist for the 8th May Mermaid Theatre concert (broadcast on 27th). it's a good mixture, and a few surprises too. I haven't heard any of the new songs so am really looing forward to it. No news yet on the 'Guest Vocalists'.....but the band includes Anne Dudley and Trevor Horn!

Should this setlist be an indicator for the songs that will be played during their worldtour?

I'm surprised 'The Sodom and Gomorrah Show' and 'Casanova in Hell' are included, if the list is true.

Many slow songs in a row. Think because it`s a special radio concert. The Festival shows would include more singles than bsides and album tracks. But for the normal Tour starting in October i couldn`t imagine this setlist because it contains so many slow songs. Just a guess.

Yes, I totally agree about 'Go West'! As it's with an orchestra I guess they've gone for all the lush numbers. Anyone any thoughts why 'Nothing has been proved' might be included. Seems a strange choice to me.

But it's a shame that Minimal isn't included. It would be nice to see them playing vocoders live.

Because it has a top notch orcestral arrangement by Angelo Badalementi.

...made me think about how cool it must have been to finally have ICHH performed with a live orchestra, as they never got the time to record the orchestral score for Actually.

Haven't you heard about "marketing" ?

What is the message behind the choice of most of the songs ?

- "Nothing Has Been Proved" = "We worked with Dusty, a legend"
- "After All" = "C'm guys, don't forget "Battleship Potemkin" is still in store !"
- "Friendly Fire = " Don't you remember our "successful" musical ?"
- "West End Girls" = "We've been around for 20 years..."
- "Left to my own devices + It's alright" = "We stress that it is the legendary producer Trevor Horn who produced our new album, out in a few weeks..."

Anyway, I'm sooooooooo looking forward to listening to that show. And FUNDAMENTAL is the best PSB album, EVER.
