This track has been getting the hardcore rotation in my headphones. It is chilling and is a fantastic opener for the album. From the whispering voices to start the track off, to the absolutely nightmarishly haunting sound of the whistle after the line..."I thought I heard a train" all encompassed around a very dark visual, hypnotizing synth line and unforgiving, foreboding beat. The hidden gem within this album. I have yet to get past this track today, thus, the rest of the album has gotten no play yet today. =)

Well said, it's quite spooky, and it rewards repeat listens..the lyrics are fairly surreal too..Broooklyn wrote:This track has been getting the hardcore rotation in my headphones. The phrase "asymmetric haircut" sounded familiar, and I finally figured out why. Chris used the term to describe ailee willis in the actually/furtherlistening booklet on "What have i done to deserve this".
"She had an asymmetric haircut. Because it was the Eighties."
"She had an asymmetric haircut. Because it was the Eighties."

It is very real the 12" of Psychological I now have a copyZog wrote:The Minimal istrumental is a fake. However, there's a good chance that the Psychological instrumental is real... since the "iinstumental" of this track was released on a white label vinyl promo several weeks ago. However, that album version of Psychological has Neil's vocals.Markpro wrote:I got hold of Psychological and Minimal but both are instrumentals, whereas Integral, Luna park and I'm With Stupid aren't

Yes that's what this line reminded me of - Chris and Neil's words about Dusty's haircut!boyjohn wrote:The phrase "asymmetric haircut" sounded familiar, and I finally figured out why. Great song, great opener, particularly the 'Or is it only your imagination' part. The lyrics reminded me of the nightmare I once had about a train going through a cemetary...
