A suggestion for the Boys (Redman, PSB, EMI, read this)

#1 Post by Nickname »

BECAUSE ALL THESE SONGS DESERVE TO BE PROMOTED:
Supposing 4 singles is the maximun number of singles (in not particular order):

- I'm with stupid
- Minimal
- Integral / Gomorrah (double A-side); a good solution for the censure.
- Numb

or

- I'm with stupid
- Minimal
- Integral
- Numb / Gomorrah (double A-side)

The 5 songs with video (just the same as Behaviour era). There is no problem with "Gomorrah" now because it's a double A-side. The radio stations could choose the other A-side.

Change numb to "Indefinite leave to remain" or 5 singles...

and ask some other remixers for next single...

Make that

I'm With Stupid
Integral
Minimal
Gomorrah

Let's just pretend Numb never happened... we don't wanna go down that whole dodgy Aerosmith road *shudders*

Numb is gorgeous.... :P

but, I would prefer :

1.I'm With Stupid
2.Minimal
3.Integral

and if a 4th (highly unlikely seeing Release and Nighlife only had 3 singles)

4.The Sodom And Gomorrah Show
what a performance tonight, should I react or turn off the light ?

Well, Numb is being considered as single (as someone says above). I think if you include it as a double A-side, you resolve 2 problems (the censure of "Gomorrah" and the rejection of some PSB-fans to Numb for being a DW song).

Spring is here and soon summer. Numb will not fit the mood very well. An upbeat song like Integral should do a lot better, if released in say early August. Numb should be released in the autumn, like early October (IF they decide to release it as a single).

I really don't see Minimal as a very commercial single. I'd love some mixes though.

But TSAGS is suppposed to be censured be the Radio-stations. That's why I suggest a double A-side for it.

Censorship can be good publicity. When was the last time radio refused to play a single because of its content?

No way. We need the promotion. That's why TSAGS wasn't the first single of Fundamental.

The 3rd release from 'Fundamental' is scheduled for October 2nd and I think 'Numb' will fit in quite nice for that time of the year - Seems as though EMI think so also?
