PET SHOP BOYS - I'm With Stupid Rating: 4/5

After dalliances with Indie guitar pop and arty film soundtracks, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe return to what they do best – deadpan electro-pop with a waspish sting in the tail. It is clever too. Who else would think of taking a potshot at the Blair-Bush special friendship with a shake-your-synthesizer-down-to-the-ground disco groove, plus electro percussion that sounds like a military chopper going for the kill? Pop with a point.

Nice review Better the one in this week's Time Out which said the boys had forgotten how to write verses and choruses!

They are not right about the verses but justified with choruses....

I think the review would have meant more if not every single reviewed scored 4/5!

The Sun had it as single of the week.It was short but it gave it 5/5. I can't remember what it said exactly. i'll try and pinch the paper from work tomorrow.
