love this one. It's a way to still use the white style.

But Depeche Mode fans are all blood-sucking S&M rubber fetishists so black is very apposite.

Can't you get Lydia to design the banner?

First draft, very messy, and I may work on it when I get a bit more time... but just to show, it can be done in white...

thats also pretty cool....the PSB is a tad too abstract but another good one.

the final one that gets picked though, I want to see more color neon lights.that seems to be the theme this time around.

now THIS is closer to the style I am leaning towards in my mind. it needs some work with centering things and and balancing it out font size wise but maybe this morphed with a diiferent picture of the PSB and maybe each word of the pet shop boys colored differntly instead of letters of community.

Oh I was just working on that image too...trying to avoid the black thing...

Here´s my first attempt, I know: it´s black...and maybe a little obvious, but ...
I always go for the simplicity...

Second try... more simplistic. Tomorrow I'll do a lot more. I really need a neon font.

Some great designs coming in. Love the ones with the 'real' neon lights. Keep up the good work. :)

don´t know about the work of 'a powerful friend', but I´m doing mines just with patience, cut/paste and some illustration work... ;)
Having the fonts, for sure will help for long texts, but in the logo "COMMUNITY" you can see the letters connected to each others like if they were a real neon light...and the glow of the different letters fading into each others glows...
For sure just with fonts you can´t get this kind of things...;)
