Has anyone in London already been able to take a peek at the Fundamental review in NME? I'm a bit anxious to know what they wrote about it.

Normally no. The review was announced in last week's issue.

It came out today in London, comes out tomorrow in the rest of England (and the UK I'd imagine)... and will possibily be available some time next week in Europe.

If Peter Robinson reviews it, it will get a great review. If not, they'll probably say that they don't sound enough like The White Stripes/The Raconteurs/Meg White singing in the shower. I'll have a look tomorrow.

They gave it a good review, but suggested it was cold and detached - something like 'you want to love the Pet Shop Boys, but you know they'd never hug you back'. That sentiment anyway.

6/10 and something about "dancefloors and zimmer frames".
They recommended #Casanova in Hell' as the song to download!

Seems on this album that everybody has a different opinion on what is the best track, which is pretty good. Even 'Numb' rates highly for some.

This weeks Time Out review is excellent, 5 stars out of 6. 'Minimal' is rated as the "killer". 'Numb' is panned.

Uncut magazine have given Fundamental 3 out of 5 stars.

Uncut, Mojo and NME don't really count as they are unlikely to be sympathetic to PSB anymore. Even though NME claim to love PSB they don't really and prefer smack heads like Pete Doherty.
