The Germans loved Nightlife much more than any other nation in Europe...that's the reason why Home and Dry was a bigger hit there on the strength of first thing coming after Nightlife...

It has to be mentioned that Radio Regenbogen is a german radio station, not, as stated above, a danish one. I don't want to play the wiseacre but I'm proud to see I'm with stupid being number one on a german chart (in contrast to the official one...

Germany: As for the german chart success, it's not that easy and the music industry has changed quite a lot in recent years. With Home & dry, the video made quite a fuss over here and was played on the 'cool' shows, hence the single made an impact in the first week (No 12) and dissappeared quickly. With I'm with stupid, I have not even heard that it was played on german TV. And also, believe me, I have never heard I'm with stupid on radio so far. The problem here is the federal radio system. Here in saxony NO station has it playlisted - afaik. In other parts however it can be heard quite frequently. Also the first TV appearance was one week after release. So actually I don't think too many were aware of the single by May 8th. If it will rise chartwise is still questionable, as PSB-singles have seldom surpassed their entry-position. (last one was New York city boy)

Still for the album I feel positive, media coverage in general is quite good and the album makes a much different impact!

Was 'Miracles' really in the chart that long? Is that the Top 200?

I didn't realise 'Discography' had made so many re-appearances in the chart? (I know its available for pennies these days)
Any idea what the current UK sales are?

Quite possibly due to the time of year of issue. Probably hang around in the 200 owing to Xmas etc.

Amazing to see Discography back in the UK Album Top 200. It's the ultimate proof of PopArt being a commercial disaster. And it makes me wonder: is this album deleted already? Why does Discography sell instead of PopArt ??

Also: I wish to know the source of the #46 chart result in Holland. I haven't found this information anywhere. The official website for the Single sales Top 100 still mentions the chart for week 19.

Until I see proof, I don't believe the #46 result, for the simple reason that PSB singles have hardly been available in the Netherlands.

Yeah, it made no sense to me why Discography wasn't deleted outright when PopArt was released. Discography still sells beacuse it's got most of the hits the general public want to buy, and it's a single CD not a double, therefore cheaper. It's always in BOGOFs and special offers these days too which keeps it ticking over.

If they'd deleted it and left punters with the superior PopArt many more people may have realised that they didn't stop having hits after 'Go West'!

I also just found the correct chart postion in NL. It's indeed #64. Mind you: this is the position in the singles sales Top 100. That chart is not broadcasted on the radio. Radio broadcasts the 'Mega Top 50', a chart in which airplay is also counted. Needless to say PSB are not in it. As usual, PSB are almost completely ignored in the Netherlands.

Before these last two weeks seemed that PSB were going to seel more albums than Zero 7 but this last two weeks the situation has changed in the pre-orders and this last week is reflected, as I expected, in the Futurecharts.
