BREAK 4 LOVE Laroz & Amdursky Unreleased Mix?

#1 Post by Collectoverhead »

Hello PSB people, I've got a question for you.

I acidentally downloaded a wma file entitled simply 'Pet Shop Boys + Peter Rauhofer - Break 4 Love (Laroz & Amdursky Unreleased Mix)

It's very different to their released mix on the Break 4 Love CD2, this one's more similar in feel to the 2 Step Mix, meaning that it's quite similar in style (though a little bit more electronic than strictly 2-step), but of course not the same mix.

It lasts 5.49... it starts with Neil's distorted vocal which is repeated throughout the mix, and his proper vocal doesn't come until 1.12. The distorted vocal goes something like 'Heeeyy hooooo haaayyy hayyyyy'. It's definitely an official mix (unless someone got their hands on the break 4 love acapella and came up with a totally professional-sounding remix). Only the first verse of the song is used.

So I was wondering.. Is there any official name for this remix or is it officially known as 'Laroz & Amdursky Unreleased Mix'?

Thx in advance!

This mix has been around for a while and was available from the remixers own homepage, it's a free download and by far the best mix available ( well I think so).

Just been to the site again and it looks like they have taken the mp3 off now. It was there for quite some time.

Yep, I agree, I was awfully delighted to have it, because it sounds so good and should have been released! Very catchy.... :) 8)

The released mix is far superior, and the best mix in my opinion. Thanks for reminding me. I must listen to it when i get in now!
