yes it was after Nightlife - Neil wasnt happy with the way the album turned out and the choice of singles put upon them by Parlaphone - it was mentioned after one of the Nightlife shows apparantley :)

I think Chris has, to be honest. I seem to remember him saying that he wanted to stop around the time of Heart, but he soon changed his mind.

Neil mentioned it many many years ago on that Janet Street-Porter programme, 'That was then - This is now. In between the time of Suburbia and It's A Sin. He was fed up with the whole thing, and thought about giving it up. If I remember correctly.
