Gareth, however battered and bruised Arsenal were, they didn't make any challenges like the Eboue tackle that nearly shattered the Barce players' pelvis. Nor did i see any Barce player throw himself all over the place like Eboue did for the goal.
Regarding Champions League qualification ;-
It's not the end of the world for Spurs. We haven't been in it so therefore cannot miss it. We have come a long way this season and would have gladly taken the UEFA cup at the beginning of the year. If Arsenal hadn't have qualified, it would have been finacial disaster. A half empty Emirates and no Henry, possibly no Fabregas. However, all three of those scenario's still might happen. I can't see Arsenal filling that stadium.

The player made contact with Eboue and he went down (like a sack of spuds), but it's hardly uncommon when a defender commits himself is it?
Reaching the final saved Arsenal from any perceived financial disaster, they earned a vast amount of TV money from last night's game and in any case would have budgeted for any such worst case scenario - it's the only way clubs to survive these days.
The stadium will be near as dammit full for every game next season - we know that already.
I'm more confident today re Henry staying than I was before the game last night especially in light of his speech on the flight home, but, who knows!
I can't see Fabregas leaving this summer - Pires and Cole yes, and Henry maybe.
In terms of your lads, they have made massive progress this season - but in terms of money and exposure - the CL is where it's at.
