Awkward as an elephant?
At last we get a PSB album which the record company are massively confident about (I can't remember such a fuss about Release)!
Perhaps the collection should have been called Derivative. Minimal - which must be a number one UK single - is clearly a development of 1989's One of the Crowd and Luna Park moves 1996's Hit and Miss forward. That's probably why this pair are my favourite on the album, not forgetting I Made My Excuses and Left, which is reminscent of So Sorry I Said.

No, the moon actually.
I just think the world-weary feel and tempo of Hit and Miss is replicated by that of Luna Park. I acknowledge that there are differences. But then I always see things differently from other folk. I used to think it was Barbara Dickson singing one of the 'Now I know you're mine' reprises on Madonna's Into The Groove.

a couple also said that when describing girls dont cry before I heard it. so I was excited as drunk is one of my all time favorites.
but when I listened to girls dont cry I thought it was a very very pale comprison. there is a similiar chord change, but really thats where it ends.
it isnt anywhere near the glorious drunk.email probably is the closest to drunk as far as overall. another track I love.I tend to love their songs with acoustic guitars and strings, which is probably why I love luna park.
