What do PSB mean to you ?

What do PSB mean to you ?

Asking in general ...

OK, for me they sometimes seem to me like 'parents'
because I don 't have ones and sometimes I need to
lean on 'someone' positive which mite be 'rather na -
tural' and it's very important to have some 'positive
role model' in your life even if not around ... esp. if
you 're feeling a bit 'lost'. So, I sometimes like to re-
gard PSB as my 'parents'. They mean much to me. I
know it mite sound ridiculous or sound bitter or what-
ever - it is hard to survive in this world without any -
one you could trust and/or lean on. I know it's rather
hard to understand or kind of 'weird' what I'm talking
about but I just need to see them as 'role models'.

I seem a bit 'lost' at present and I don 't like it myself,
so I was awaiting this release so much ...
It's some kind of given crutchs to the one not able to
walk by him/herself anymore. I 'd once have exactly
this feeling about 'Nightlife' and this release's 'helped'
alot. It seemed crutchs and stuff ...
PSB would never know or guess what this release did
to me but I won't forget what it did in a bitter phase
of my life. That's how I 're-came' to Pets and I won't
ever forget what they 'did' (they didn' t anything of
course).
I needed this new release muchly otherwise I wouldn't
have 'survived', methinx.
Alright, they are not *parents* certainly and I don't
know them but they seem and I regard them as s.th.
positve 'to follow' ...

Sorry for that 'outcoming'. Just felt to let petheads
know what they mean to me. What do PSB mean to
you?

And yes, I am a little bit drunk otherwise I 'd never
spit it out (I mite regret it tomorrow) and pls. don't
ask me who of them's supposed to be my 'mum'.:mrgreen:
Yup, some may feel free to make 'jokes' on the mat-
ter or what I have just 'let out' ... go ahead, then ...

Seriously, do they mean something to you and if yes,
what ... ?

well for me,if someone says something mean about neil or chris or gives one of their CD's a bad review, I actually get angry. like an emotional reponse like they just said something about my brothers or something.

weird.I like lots of bands but I really dont feel anything personally for them except PSB.

Damn..someone give Pani a big hug.
That was difficult reading..I guess if my parents wern't about I'd proabably look to something else for "comfort". But for me Neil and Chris are just great musicians who take my mind of life for a while and sometimes for longer when a song sticks in my head.

I've always considered Neil to be more of an Aunt Agatha figure.

A (Hug) for Pani...she's my friend. I think this is how I think of PSB too in a way. They could be my 'friends', ok I don't know them personally but what I read in interviews gives me a clue as to their personalities and I like them. I think we could be very good friends :D .

I think I went through the total fanatic stage in the early 90's and now, probably due to a couple of mediocre albums along the way, I'm not as fanatical as I once was. I still love the boys and they're still very important in my life, but I don't get too fixated on everything they do these days.

Still haven't heard Fundamental, BTW. Blame recordstore.co.uk for that. :(

Nice to read your thoughts on what the PSb mean to you Pani..

To me, their music takes me to another dimension of thought (slightly off day-dreaming ;) ) with almost EVERY song of theirs!!!
thats something no other artist has managed to do to me..

Its different for us younger fans :)

Though i dont go collecting PSB stuff like mad, PSB's music is a very important part of my life..

I had work experience at that time when Conan was in Finland. I was quite tired at work those few days. :oops: Just imagine if PSB were here. I would run after them all the time.
