Luna Park third single

#1 Post by wirral39 »

Well it had better be.

If the singles represent the album, we've already had the political (I'm with stupid - cleverly released before Blair resigns) and we're getting the disco (Minimal) so that leaves the more sombre side of the album to plunder, and, assuming Numb is no-go, then Luna gets my vote.

In fact, Luna sounds like it would make a very good last Pet Shop Boys single, prefiguring death and destruction rather than shouting about it as in S&G.

I doubt Luna Park will be a single as Numb/Integral look likely to be the final two but Numb will probably be the 3rd/final single.

Luna Park is not a song for being single.

Jesus Christ! I thought already that is official information :P

Oh thank God this is only wishful thinking of a fan :)
The CELL by Stephen King instantly hit number 1 in New York Times Bookseller Lists selling well over 200 thousand copies in three weeks. This affirms my opinion: People really need an occassional good horror read...

Luna Park's superb but I doubt it will be a single. It would probably get an I get along radio edit and it doesn't deserve that.

I think the instrumental part of luna park will be used to advertise programmes on the BBC (like coldplay etc..)

Luna Park would be the right single for a big flop !

A single should be a song to get successful and promote further the album and not a song of some fans favourite song !

Minimal ist a good choice for the second single. Integral, and Sodom would be the best choice for the third single !

I'm sure, a slow song would be a flop.

Love Luna Park but hope there'll be 4 singles and the 3rd one Numb/The Sodom and Gomorrah and the 4th Integral

Well I most certainly hope it won't be. What single potential would *that* track have compared to some of the other gems on the album?! Naught, nil, zilch.
