i think they asked rufus to perform this song for a reason. His vocal took the song to a higher platform. His voice is amazing. Neil would be the first to say it.

They are all good, but you couldn't go wrong with his second album "Poses". Or you could get his 3rd and 4th albums (Want 1 and Want 2) as a combo pack. His first album "Rufus Wainwright" is excellent also.

I love Rufus' version, and as people said: he made it his own version. But I prefer Neil's, he goes over-the-top at the end, which he doesn't do that often anymore.

I bet my girlfriend prefers the Rufus version, she's a big fan of him.

I was blown away. "Want One" is an unbelievable album, and the ideal introduction to Rufus' work. "I don't know what it is", "Go or go ahead" and "Dinner At Eight" are slices of genius.

Totally agree. One of my all time favourite albums. Poses is great too.
