You're absolutely right, it is a bad review. So bad, and without any hint of argument for the lazy criticism it makes, it's hardly worth clicking on the link. This, kids, is how not to write.

Yes. It's much more fun to be skewered by someone with an ounce of wit, intelligence or just downright snidey attitude, than it is to be criticised with the finesse and precision of a great big f*** digger picking an ecosystem apart. Probably someone elses ecosystem as well.

Thanks. I got in trouble over a slightly risque visual joke involving the Moors Murderers, Hitler and Franz Ferdinand once and I find it helps to be able to instantly distance myself from anything I might say. Also, I imagine I'm legally covered if I suggest that Phillip Schofield and Ferne Britton are 'doing it'. Which they are. Or are they?

This is incredibly bad writing. He begins two consecutive sentences with "However" and uses the idiom "to speak of" in two consecutive sentences too. And this sentence is a hoot: "However, two things make this a weak album: the production and the creativity". How can a creativity make anything a bad album? A lack of creativity, yes, but not the creativity in itself. No media worth its salt should publish anything like this.

Sadly his fortunes have taken a tumble from those halcyon days, since now he apparently scrapes together a living by wiriting album reviews.
