Fugitive clarification
Although Fugitive is an awesome track, it seems that it's a remix....So there has to be an original version somewhere ?
I'm very curious to see *if that ever gets released as a single* what the "original" version would sound like....

I actually think that this is the original production. There's probably a radio edit lying around somewhere, but it is very feasible that this is called the "extended version" simply because it is long.

there is, radio edit is 3:46 long, and it's literally a radio edit of Richard X extended mixBlueSwan wrote:I actually think that this is the original production. it's just short and chords are different in the part ''I know that it won't be that long until the hour''
very good sounding

Also, I think they wanted to highlight the fact that it was produced by Richard X and so put "(Richard X extended remix)" at the end of the title.BlueSwan wrote:I actually think that this is the original production. Yeah, the fact that it's on a remix album and the title obviously makes it clear that it's not the proper version.wizboy wrote:Although Fugitive is an awesome track, it seems that it's a remix....So there has to be an original version somewhere ?

I'm hoping for the proper version for a B-Side.

Re: Fugitive clarification
I'm sure with time you'll realize that I was right. Naturally, there will exist a demo version of "Fugtive", but the versino on Fundamentalism IS the studio version of the track. If there is ever going to appear a version with a different arrangement then it's either going to be the demo or a remix.! wrote:What a surpriseBlueSwan wrote:Nonsense.! wrote: Yeah, the fact that it's on a remix album and the title obviously makes it clear that it's not the proper version.

Until it's confirmed I'll believe the obvious.

It is almost guaranteed to be the original version.! wrote:What a surpriseBlueSwan wrote:Nonsense.! wrote: Yeah, the fact that it's on a remix album and the title obviously makes it clear that it's not the proper version.

So you therefore beleive what we are saying? That there is the Fundamental version (which is the studio version) and a demo version.! wrote:What makes you so sure?BlueSwan wrote:I'm sure with time you'll realize that I was right. Your signature also seems to confirm this...

Produced by Pet Shop Boys and Richard X
Fugitive
Fugitive - Richard X Extended Mix
Produced by Pet Shop Boys
Fugitive - Demo
Until it's confirmed otherwise....

Erm, yes and no:bookshopboy wrote:Your signature also seems to confirm this...
Produced by Pet Shop Boys and Richard X
Fugitive*
Fugitive - Richard X Extended Mix (that's a remix of the above)
Produced by Pet Shop Boys
Fugitive - Demo
* That's what should be a b-side, the proper version. I don't consider demos or remixes proper versions, do you?

The extended version is the proper version. They just did it because it's on a remix album.! wrote:Erm, yes and no:bookshopboy wrote:Your signature also seems to confirm this...
