Colin & Edith's CD Burner

#1 Post by kimphilby »

As you may or may not recall, when the boys were on Colin & Edith's Radio 1 show last month, they played 'Minimal' and said they would put it on their CD Burner (Single of the week).
Colin repeated this a few weeks later, when the boys weren't in the studio (so not under pressure!), the same time he said 'Fundamental' was one of his albums of the year.

I've emailed them, very politely asking when they will be making it their SOTW.

If enough of us put in a 'reminder' we might get a result:

www.bbc.co.uk/radio1

Go to SCHEDULE, COLIN & EDITH, then click on EMAIL.

You can send your request without having to register so there's no excuse.

TIP :!:

I advise that you don't send angry emails to them. They have, so far, been very supportive of the boys and they represent PSB only chance of getting back on daytime Radio 1 and all the possible extra success that may bring.
If people antognise them they will probably not bother. If the boys themselves can go on and not be bitter about their recent lack of airplay, I think we should do them a favour and BE NICE :!:

Oh, and you might want to do it over the course of the next couple of weeks. If we all do it at the same time it might look a bit like an Erasure-esque plea!

I disagree with this strategy. I think mass-emails will only annoy them and put them off putting Minimal on the CD burner.

I'd urge people NOT to write them.

It'll be the CD-burner only one week. So, it's better to wait a few weeks, it's too soon yet.

Hence my additional point.
