Imagine my surprise - Lennon reference

I have almost booked Excuses as the song they play at my funeral.

Anyway, before I shuffle off this mortal coil, I had heard that Excuses was inspired by Cynthia Lennon walking in on John and Yoko.

Is that why the second line is 'IMAGINE my surprise'?
