Based upon how the official site had phrased it, I would assume that PSB are "currently" working on 4 songs, they've recently done 5 "epic" songs and they have also done "Numb".
It must be 9 songs. Why else would they write "making a total of nine tracks". It would make no sense talking about a total of 9 Trevor Horn tracks, if there were infact 10. They probably only mention "Numb" because it's a track that has been mentioned in the past. It's clumsily written, so it could be misinterpreted, but the key must be "making a TOTAL of NINE tracks!".
If that's true, there is a long running song on the album or maybe the possibility of a secret number 10 song.
I believe there's more than 9 songs recorded for the album, just not more than 9 Trevor Horn songs. They could have recorded songs with other producers as rumoured in the past.

One PSB-produced/written Robbie Williams song would already be great.
Seems Sky were on to something. I wonder when the TWO tracks (though only one written by PSB) with Robbie were actually recorded.

But it's only a dream, probably it's not true.
Will a live album count?

They haven't denied the Rebeca rumour either.
Or the one about the horse.
