Not really, maybe the Colin And Edith Show. We'll see.

this may be relevant OR it may not, i'll leave that up to you......but the same thing happened with (at least the first couple) of Erasure NB single releases - achieving high Radio 2 airplay( + little other support) it seemed did little to promote the single to the public and absoluitely NOTHING for album sales. The thoughts on this were that R2 listeners rarely buy singles(so single can't promo the album much more) and that the R2 audience consists of completely the wrong demographic when it comes to the appeal of the group and their type of music.

To put this theory to the test how many of your peers that have been part time/fair weather PSB fans also, regularly listen to R2 :?:

True, Erasure - Here I Go Impossible Again (3rd single of NB) was on radio2 A-list for 3 weeks.

No, and I wouldn't worry about it.

Radio 1 is far LESS the required demography, which is why peoples concerns about PSB being playlisted there make no sense.

I disagree. I actually think PSB are more likely to pick up new younger listeners with a broad taste in music, than 35+ aged adults who are perfectly happy listening to MOR radio and will only buy the occasional Dido album once in a while. Hence, I'd take radio 1 airplay over radio 2 airplay any day.
