Superchumbo goes Minimal (unconfirmed)

Apparently Tom Stephan did a remix of Minimal as well. It's supposed to be released 'soon'.
No clue if it's going to be released by the boys or maybe ends up on Stephan's own label, if it's going to be widely available or another limited release like Sexy Northerner.

Personally I can't wait to hear it.

I'm just glad it's not going to be on the commercial singles! I'm not a fan of stupid bang bang no melody noise.

i dunno why people are so critical of the Superchumbo mixes that have been done. his mix of Sexy Northerner has far more of the original in it than the awful Blank and Jones mixes of Home and Dry which are so loved here.

There was a chinese blog mentioning all Minimal remixes & dubs before we officially know them, and it listed a Supercumbo remix & also a dub.

I hope that it's good like the New York city boy remix... and nothing like the Sexy Northener remix.

No, but there was a good UK garage mix of that which was very popular. He did a very good remix of a Roger sanchez tune called 'turn on the music.

i never liked superchumbo. everything he did is unmelodic noise to my ears. hopefully it's only a rumour.

We can hope.

There's not much inspiration in his dull affairs.'Screaming' was a low point. There was a piece in Mixmag about him. He generally came across as a Nathan Barely type.
