Ohh forgot about Requiem for a Dream. Thats a serious party killer though hahaha- i saw it on IFC a month ago and i didnt realize my mouth was hanging open until the credits.

Also remembered- You simply must show the original Night of the Living Dead. A classic. The black and white really adds to things.

Though if you guys wanna go a little old school The Changeling with George C Scott is fantastic if you turn out the lights! Classic Ghost movie from 1979! Give'z me chills everytime I watch it.

now that Haloween has been and gone - go and see Scary Movie 3, just watched it with Julie BUT you have to see "Signs" and "The Ring" to get it as its basically just a spoof of those two mixed up spoofs of "8 Mile" and a few others...

I have seen signs and the ring but julie hasn't so she didnt get it AT ALL !!!

Funnier than 2 but not funnier than 1

That's funny , because I've never seen a movie which really scared me . Peter Jackson's "Brain Dead" isn't scary at all - it's one of the funniest ones I've ever seen ( if not THE funniest ! ) .

I once saw a movie , The Dentist 2 . But I wouldn't call it a horror movie , but a "gross" movie . It was extremely disgusting , and I regret for seeing it . Actually , I think it's kinda ... not very clever to make a movie about this issue , when there are so many people in the world who are afraid of dentists

Signs got my girlfriend rather spooked, especially when Mel Gibson is in the Corn field at night and he see the alien leg disappearing into the crops !

I love the "home footage" of the kids birthday party. Would love to fake something like that and release it onto the net !

well it's way past halloween now but THEY was pretty scarey - not a great movie but had some scarey moments

also it was filmed in vancouver!

Children of the Corn. Theres another film. The film that got the most hype but was the biggest let down was Blair Witch.

watched "house on the haunted hill" (1999 re-make) the other night. It was rather scary, quite well done as well. the downside was that it kinda got out of hand near the ending.

The Ring is supposed to be scary. I got the Japanese "orignal" (there's supposed to be a Korean one too) for my birthday.

The Ring was brilliant, Poltergist can be oddly comic, but i think if u
want psychological horror, nothing to beat The omen part 1 and 2

scariest movies are those in which you don't really see anything...supernatural stuff always gives me the scares. So, I would say that "The Ring" and "The Blair Witch Project" fall under that category.

I saw blair witch the right way. when I saw, it I wasnt aware it was all a put on. I thought it was as advertised, footage found by a group of filmakers who went missing. it was creepy as hell, especially that last scene with mike standing against the wall just like what happened to the children in folklore of the story. as far as movies I have always been a fan of the dead movies, you know, dawn of the dead,day of the dead.28 days later was good but it lost somthing along the way with the subplots with the military.

oooh yes ! The 1st time I saw the movie and when it finished, I wouldn't go to the toilet in my dark house by myself - had to take a friend for moral support !! (was that too much info ?)
