Well if Minimal has been pressed they could always just postpone the release and leave it sitting in the factory till October.
They'd really have to be sure of huge success for Numb to conceive a brand new single from scratch now and have it out in the same month. Unless they had B-sides etc recorded and planned already?
question for ting tong/dazzerukuk

Minimal is being promoted on Radio 2 since yesterday. So, they can't chang plans now. Anyway, they can rush releasing Numb after the release of Minimal (they did with Always on my mind, I think, when Rent was being promoted on the radio).Burj wrote:Well if Minimal has been pressed they could always just postpone the release and leave it sitting in the factory till October.

Could it be that EMI's tactic is to have an even bigger bang from the second single. Although unlike Go West etc it is released AFTER the album.dibdav wrote:Look at the album sales for the PSB's last couple of albums 'post' first single - virtually nill.
What is wrong with returning with a BIG BANG. Rather that, than a 'slow burner' - it's not as much fun.
