Sorry, I had to vote Blue Monday.

Then again, maybe its the people who voted Michael Jackson and Guns N Roses should be sorry... sorry to have such atrocious taste in music.

They can't even spell "Billie Jean" properly.

Blue Monday is bottom place? Ridiculous! They can play footie, but have no taste in music.

The disaster that's called Kiss is above West End girls. That's really a shame.
The CELL by Stephen King instantly hit number 1 in New York Times Bookseller Lists selling well over 200 thousand copies in three weeks. This affirms my opinion: People really need an occassional good horror read...

The top 3 should be...

New Order - Blue Monday
Madonna - Into The Groove
Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls

"West End Girls" isn't even the best song by Pet Shop Boys, so how can it be "best of the 80's"? If "It's a sin" had been a choice I might have voted.

In the same way, "Born in the USA" is one of Springsteen's worst songs... (Although there is a superior, unplugged-style, version of the song available on the 18 Tracks album.)
Of the alternatives, I'd say that "Billie Jean" is the best song.
"Blue Monday" is as boring as anything by New Order. Sorry.

I'm really not a big fan of West End girls, so I'm not voting for that!

I voted for Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine 8) Best song on there!

Song then. I'm not overly-familiar with NO's singles discography.
