Has anybody had chance to play around with this yet. It's part of the Enhanced Cd single. I was lucky enough to get my cd's in the post today and have been playing with it tonight.

Here's a link to my first attempt, never mixed anything before so don't laugh..... you will need the U-MYX software to listen to it, I hope you enjoy it!

Just click save and then open using myx.

One more added!

Athough the U-Myx Software possibilities is very limited with fixed samples (only splitted) you can create very cool and experimental effects. The only thing missing is an own CD-Burn function.:D

Maybe there should be opened an extra forum for sharing the best mixes like save games from several games even with a competition and prices.;)

It's the most coolest thing of software I ever get on a CD an it's very unusual or there are some other music groups available with this tool?

In order to listen to the mixes you posted, we need the U-myx software AND the original file with the samples of Minimal...we can´t listen to the mixes without it...but this is the kind of stuff we can´t post here...

Anybody who buys the CD singles will have all of this including including the software, it's designed for fans to be able to do this. They actually supply the software to upload your mixes to a dedicated website so that you can share them with other fans.

Click this link to see all that have been uploaded so far!

 at the person who texted in with "gay anthem"

Great publicity though! If you just leave the guitars in it sounds like a Release version of Minimal. ;)

that gay anthem thing was ridiculously narrow minded, Minimal is no way a 'gay anthem,' whatever the hell that is anyway!

The PSB's should consider putting the best of the Minimal UMIX mixes on their next single as a sweetner. Might get a few more sales.

Better still, they should do an entire (limited edition?) box set of Fundamental remixes yet to be officially released on CD at the end of the Fundamental campaign.

Even better still, the other un-released (so far!) Fundamental songs :P

Ring Road
The performance of my life
One way street
Dirty Tricks
Dancing in the dusk
China
After the event
The former enfant terrible
Fundamental: Ouveture

I really wanna hear those two!

yes cant wait to hear the unreleased stuff but I am loving this new U-mix stuff.now its possible to break down songs to the lowest denominator.

if they keep doing this thats pretty awesome as there are so many PSB songs I always wondered what was going on in a certain mix.

plus now getting acapellas is simple enough as I can just open up my sonar recording software and record the acapella from the U-mix and save it and just work around with it from there in sonar.
