Thanks - I don't mind being criticised but most responses seem to be dismissive and derisory (if I can spell that) rather than respectful and constructive.
I agree - the Sodom (or is it Saddam?) and Gomorrah Show would make a good single - it would certainly get more attention for its name than Numb would, and the video possibilities are endless ...

I heard that rufus sung casanova live yet I really knew nothing about that singer, one day while I was in barnes and nobles music section I tried a couple of his CD's in the listening machines and I thought all his songs sound kinda like casanova in hell. acoustic guitar and paino with strings kind of stuff.

I kind've twigged on that it wasn't directly about the actual parks and was a metaphor / hidden meaning for something

hence why Neil says in Literally that Rufus sang Casanova like he wrote the song.glennjridge wrote:I heard that rufus sung casanova live yet I really knew nothing about that singer, one day while I was in barnes and nobles music section I tried a couple of his CD's in the listening machines and I thought all his songs sound kinda like casanova in hell. acoustic guitar and paino with strings kind of stuff.

If LP is Neil´s fave, it doesn´t mean it´s getting a single release. After reading the latest Literally I see that TSAGS just asks itself to be released.
There is a 7 inch of it already! (Of course it may end up like No time for tears.) And you can easily visualize the video for it filled with the usual PSB irony and humour. Probably Neil wearing that uniform from the recent shows. The tune itself is more commercial than LP, IMO.
Chris Heath: Why you're surfing?
Chris Lowe: Coz we can!
Neil Tennant: Exactly.

It would make a great video! David LaChapelle should direct it if it was released as a single....mindboy wrote:After reading the latest Literally I see that TSAGS just asks itself to be released. There is a 7 inch of it already!
