Though, according to the figures, digital downloads only accounted for 99 sales. Which is very odd. You'd expect it to be around half of total sales. Maybe that will corrected tomorrow.

At this rate it could struggle to go top 20...

Off out to buy more copies. You do likewise!

Oh dear, not very good for an excellent single...

Of course, it doesn't help when stores do not even have copies in stock.

From my post (same time as Dazzer's pretty much)

3385 sold - predicted at 13

Kasabian the only new entry predicted higher thus far - 6113 copies sold

It's pretty tight up to about number 6 however - a few sales could swing it.

Although kasabian's figure includes their download figures which accounts for 4076 of those sales.

I simply don't believe PSB only sold 99 tracks online!!!!

Maybe the picture will be clearer tomorrow.

The singles market is very strong at the minute though. There are a few singles that kee phanging about. Those first day figures normally ease you into the top ten. You can only do as well as the next single above you.

It was available for download last week therefore not a new entry. (It was 45 last week)

Yeah, unlucky scheduling given that July is usually dead slow.

Funnily enough, I just discovered a remarkable songtitle for a new single that's also released this week:

At The Lake – I Made My Excuses And Left

Todays chart is unchanged for PSB struggling at 15. They would need to sell at least 2000 more copies to get into the top ten. :(
