Lorraine support!
I just saw on Lorraines website that they have been confirmed as support act for at least the Tower gigs.
That´s great news isn´t it? I just love "I Feel it" and "Italian girlfriend". Generally I don´t like the concept of support acts at all, but for Lorraine I´d be prepared to make an exception.
Now let´s just hope they come to support in Sweden as well...

Wow, this is great news. Lorraine are brilliant. Should be two fantastic nights in London.

I love Lorraine and it's great there is already a discussion here about them:
I've seen Lorraine @ :
o2 Wireless, London
Tower of London with PSB
Rochester Castle, Kent with Sugababes
and I heard the Thetford Forest show was pretty good too.
I'm next going to see them at Barfly, Camden 17th August.
Anyone going to V? I'm going to Chelmsford (Sunday). Lorraine are playing both Staffs (Saturday) and Chelmsford (Sunday). It's a great chance to see them for the first time, or see them again, as well as check out a few other bands.
If you want to know about them go to:
www.lorrainemusic.co.uk
www.myspace.com/lorrainemusic
I heard that PSB are big fans of Lorraine and I actually got to see Neil & Chris meeting Lorraine at the Tower of London show and I also got to meet Neil
Lorraine will release Heaven on October 2nd, a brilliant cover of the Psychedelic Furs' classic hit from 1984.
The release will also include new track When I Return To The World, Confetti and a demo version of live favourite Saved.
I can't get enough of Lorraine at the moment so I'd love to hear from people who've seen Lorraine or people want to know more about them and where they can see them Live.

Lorraine are great. I Feel It was a great single, and Transatlantic Flight WOULD have been a great single if it got released... but since it's not going to be, you can download the Radio Edit at the Lorraine link given by Karen.
Heaven is OK but not a patch on Transatalantic Flight... it's a shame it's deemed necessary to release a cover version in order to get a hit.

Yep, heard them and really impressed at a couple of their songs (PS: just a couple though). I was thinking they'd be along the line of the (in)famous A.R.E Weapons, but thank goodness I was wrong!
Then again, it's not hard to be better than the ARE peeps.

The promo single I have is stickered with some blurb on the band (mentioning PSB as an influence, along with The Smiths, New Order, The Cure and Depeche Mode) says it was due for release on 17th July.
