2 things I've noticed playing these songs a lot lately.
Listening to GDC I get the feeling that there is a second part of the first verse removed. After "It's the final day" the chorus begins and at that point it doesn't sound right. So I feel there is a part removed or the chorus is placed there to make the track a little longer. As short as it is.
Did anyone noticed the cowbells in the M-factor sound very simulair to the one from Always on my mind?

There's no right or wrong in songwriting. It may sound unfamiliar. I noticed it in the beginning too, but thought that it fits.Ronald42 wrote:at that point it doesn't sound right.
Yes, the sound is similar. In the Disco Mix of What Have I Done To Deserve This (which was released before Always On My Mind) even the pattern of the cowbells resembles its successor. I think the Vocal Mix and Dub of It's A Sin have also this kind of cowbell pattern.Ronald42 wrote:Did anyone noticed the cowbells in the M-factor sound very simulair to the one from Always on my mind?
