Number 2. Kept off the top spot only by Wet Wet Wet's "Love Is All Around".Docoboy wrote:Yes, we managed to get the Absolutely fabulous single to number 3 or something in the charts didn't we? Something to be proud of, to be sure.Steve Fett wrote:In Oz :
Go West
Always On My Mind
West End Girls
Absolutely Fabulous
Its A Sin
My experience with PSB and the radio nowadays that it's virtually non-existent other than for West End Girls.... although What Have I Done To Deserve This and Always On My Mind might sneak in for a bit of variety.
As far as video-shows go... Rage will play the new singles when they are new singles (irrespective of whether they're released here or not) and MTV, V and such might play Go West occasionally as part of some "Best of Britpop" themed show.
Retro.

In the states (which I don't see listed), it's:
West End Girls
Opportunties
It's A Sin
What Have I done....
Always On My Mind
Where the Streets Have No Name (a few years ago, I used to hear this one a lot)
On Sirius radio, they also (or played) play regurally:
Mostly on the dance hits station:
I'm With Stupid
New York City Boy
Mostly on the early alternative station:
Subarbia
Love Comes Quickly
Dominio Dancing
Never heard any of those on regular radio! OutQ, a station gay, lesbain talk station, plays a lot of their stuff (modern stuff, as well as surprising tracks like "Try It..."), too but I think only at night when they don't have any regular shows. I've never really heard anything on there other than "Phsyological". The problem with that station for music is that it's not only played late at night, it's not stereo quality like the regular music stations and you have to turn it way up to hear the song.
