Thankfully I'm getting the book for my birthday... otherwise it could have been a very expensive month!

Retro. :)

+ US release of PopArt (2CD) & limited 12" vynil of Numb (and infinite promos :D). And possible 7 inches.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

Are you sure all of that will be released in October? Pound for a penny that something will get delayed. It's a PSB unwritten rule.

Besides, talking about marketing strategies, they should release each at a concecutive month to keep their names on media for at least a semester.

so then:

So...

1. Numb x 5 (CDs+DVD+ vinyls)
2. A Life in Pop DVD
3. Mermaid concert (2CDs)
4. Catalogue Book
5. Robbie Williams CD

leaving promos and US PopArt out (I don't think this is really relevant, even to the americans), still a lot.

A single release of 'She's Madonna' should do it.
They'd be mad if they did, commercially ...
