figuring because its neil, I wonder if the party song is actually going to be a slow song as it would seem so obvious by the title to be upbeat, so they actually would make it slow.

I know, I was just going off the tracklisting that I posted. Erm, ignore me I've lost myself now :?

I think the 12" will be for Psychological only, I doubt there'll be any Numb tracks on it. So basically, one week we'll have the Numb formats (CDS, CDM, DVD or CDS, CDM, 7") and the following week the Psychological 12"...

Meh, it's all guesswork till the OS confirms the formats/tracklistings :wall:
Or maybe they will release CD1, CD2, DVD and a week later, a 'Numb' 12" featuring the 'Psychological' remix, just like they did with the limited 'Minimal' 7".

Do i. But one-sided one track 12'', do you mean? Perhaps album version/instrumental/dub on B... i should like to see a little more mixes on it, to be honest.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

But, I don't think the 12" will have any Numb tracks on it, just the Psychological remix(es).

A1. Psychological - Ewan Pearson's Unheimlich remix
B1. Psychological - Ewan Pearson's Unheimlich dub

Like DM's The Darkest Star release.

Just a guess

I can't see why there'd be anything else on it only the EP mix and dub (if there is one)

I think that the 'Psychologichal' remix will be a b-side to the 'Numb' 12". Look how the official site wrote the news about the 'Numb' formats:
A new dance mix of "Psychological" by Ewan Pearson will also be included on a limited edition 12" vinyl release.
"Included" sound more proper for a b-side than an a-side, IMHO.

Do we know for sure there are two CDs and a DVD? We seem to be missing three or four tracks if that's the case.

Well ... according to Sirendisc -- here's what's coming:

COUNTRY: U.K.
Format: 2-CD
Expected Release Date: 23-Oct-06

12" $12.95 Numb
COUNTRY: U.K.
Format: 12" SINGLE VINYL
Expected Release Date: 16-Oct-06

7" $9.95 Numb
COUNTRY: U.K.
Format: 7" SINGLE VINYL
Expected Release Date: 16-Oct-06

CDS $7.99 Numb (2 tracks)
COUNTRY: U.K.
Format: CD SINGLE
Expected Release Date: 16-Oct-06

CDS $8.99 Numb (3 tracks+video)

Despite the egregious error for the title of the Concert CDs, this looks pretty accurate.
I like it here ~~ wherever it is ...

On the OS Record Store it has CDS, CDM and DVD.

Then there's other sources saying CDS, CDM and 7" like Naughty Zoot has posted above.

CD2:
Numb (Album Version)
Numb (Live Version from the forthcoming 'Concert' album)
Bright Young Things
Numb (Video)

12":
A - Numb (Album Version)
B - Psychological (Ewan Person Remix)

If it's a 2xCD and a 7" release then it I think it will be the one I posted first.

CDS
01. Numb - single mix
02. West End girls - live at the Mermaid Theatre

CDM
01. Numb - original demo (maybe it's the 2003 version they recorded for PopArt)
02. Party song
03. Bright young things
04. Numb - video

7"
A. Numb - single mix
B. Party song

I hope it's a 2xCD and DVD release.
