Oh no! Leeds.U 3 V B'ham 2 It was all going so well. One of the crowd wrote:The easiest 3 points of the season!!Phillip wrote:...then Leeds away.
An OG, a Pen & a sending off (again, 4th this season) we were unlucky. Playing better now but losing...something not right, can't work it out.

Carling Cup Round 3 24-25 OctStevePSB wrote:We'll play anyone at Belle Vue!
Let's give the old girl one last fling in the cup with some capacity gates again before January when we move to our new stadium.
I'm sure the next round will make Sky.

So no last run out in the Cup for 'Belle Vue'. You're have to wait for round 4 to get Sky!
We (BCFC) could do without the extra games

Horrible draw for Southend. We have to play Leeds away in the league only four days later so I'm more interested in that game. I'd be more than happy to exit the Carling Cup as long as we win the league game.

Sorry, Phillip, we were utter garbage today. Although Cardiff were decent, I haven't seen us play that badly for a long, long time. So many elementary errors, even from our most experienced players. Let's hope it was a one-off - otherwise it's hello League 1.Phillip wrote:Southend U 0 V Cardiff C 3
Southend you let me down today! (I was hoping your 'Home' record would do us a favour at the top).

God, that Doncaster v Blackpool game yesterday was bloody awful. Donny were the better passing side of the 2 although we defended well, hit the woodwork and side netting and should have nicked it in the end when the sulking Keigan Parker missed a one on one. Blackpool were so rigid and lacked any movement while Donny didn't pressure us enough and looked scared of shooting. On this evidence though, looks like the 2 teams pre-season odds of being among the promotion favourites looks unrealistic.

Well things are slowly getting there although we still aren't attacking enough for me. We're on Sky next Sunday so you can judge for yourself!Undertaker wrote:Yeah, you must be sides like Orient. It looks like they might have a really tough season. Blackpool have been drawing a few lately, haven't they? Thats sometimes a sign things are on the up.
