Numb Stockist News [Updated 13/10/06]

#1 Post by E-Mail Vampire »

Popped into my local Music Zone to purchase a DVD today (which they did not have and have no record of even being released) and whilst there I asked if they would be stocking Numb on Monday. Their reply was No as it was not even listed on their system as existing.

So anyone with a Music Zone store near them better find another oulet to buy Numb. IMO this looks like being another Minimal at present.

Asda is 90% definate
Woolworths are hinting at a yes but only if it enters the chart but they don't know what format they will get.

Probably for the best, by the sound of things.

Basically it depends on whether Woolies think Numb will go top 20. What may work in Numb's favour is that the charts are quite static at the moment. There won't be many high new entries at all this week and I don't think there are many high profile new releases next week either so it may be that Woolies will stock it by default. And with Minimal making #19 without Woolies stocking it, they may give Numb the benefit of the doubt. I certainly hope so.

Woolworths used to own MVC (what is now Music Zone) so when they did if woolworths didn't stock something MVC wouldn't. Not sure what the link is now hence why I say it MAY signal that woolies won't stock it.

Oh I see

Woolworths sold MVC to some dodgy outfit a short time before it shut down (around the time they had that really good sale) - it may or may not have been the people who run Music Zone - either way I don't think there's any connection any more
