Surely 4 copies counts as 4 sales?!

It does. Wether you buy them all at once, or 1 copy per week, they count as 4 units sold.

Picture this ( or should i say I D this ).
Integral to be the grand single off Fundamental to coincide with the UK leg of the tour.
Parlophone could issue I D cards promoting the single & tour.
We deserve an epic PSB Extended Mix with input from good ole Trevor.
Good choice of formats ( both sizes in Vinyl ).
Parlophone could,SHOULD, market this one to the extreme....After all, who are the prime assets of Parlophone?

I think the 2000 of us being scanned out of Radio City, then scanned back in again in order to go smoke during the intermission would make a good video for integral ... we were like herds of sheep lol

especially since integral was the last song before the intermission ....

Seriously though, all the non fans I was sitting with were very impressed with Integral, got the best reception of the night for Fundamental songs.(from them, obviously Soddom was the biggest Fundamental song for the fans)

I've always said that the best song of Fundamental was TSAGS but most of people thought Integral was much better.

Integral is the best song on Fundamental and probably one of the best from the last 10 years!

someone said it would do well if it recieved a makeover if its released as a single but I think integral is one of those songs where they got it right the first time and I dont think any remixer could improve on the fundamental version.

I think it needs a makeover to make it a little less "obvious"...to create some progression on the track..I believe a song must have a 'crescendo' as if you were reading a story, if you get the big impact at the beginning, then there is no incentive to keep reading..or hearing...that´s the failure of Integral to my ears: after hearing the first 20 seconds of the track, I already know what is all about...it´s too 'over the top' since the very first sound...
This is not my signature.

I don't see the point in Numb being released now that it is 6 months too late to be released as a single. And if Integral is to be a 4th single, it must be re-done and released as a doubleA side with a new version of Paninaro or ITN

I hope there won't be more singles. 3 singles off of and album is perfect.
I love Integral, and I don't want it to become a boring hit like Go West (for example).

Totally agree with this, I like Integral, but have never liked it as much as I thought I would. I can see why Chris wasn't that sure about it.
As to a double a-side with paninaro. Eh? It's been released as a single already, why again? Maybe a new song/cover, but they aren't going to start putting old b-sides/a-sides out again-leave that to EMI when the boys are 'gone'. Why not put West End Girls on as a double a-side while you're at it.

The cost of shooting a video, artwork, promotion etc when it will spend 1 week in the Top Forty and three in the Top 75 doesn't make comercial sense. It would only be worth it if sales for Fundamental would be increased but given the fact that Minimal had a minimal effect on the album sales and Numb has (so far) had no effect it wont happen.
.
Well it IS our money they're gonna spend on all the above said stuff :P

I just hope they DO release it and not leave it the same fate as Closer To Heaven... a fantastic single choice down the drain..
