i love that period too! it's their very electro time (Disco 3, Miracles, Flamboyant, In private, Blue on blue, this new version of ''It's a sin''...)
i wish they would've sticked with it, and they were both very good looking at the time
has anyone noticed that it's the same beat in this new ''It's a sin'' version, ''In private (7'' mix), and ''Flamboyant (single mix)?
sounds like Stuart Crichton or Tomcraft had their fingers in this one too :)

I think this was done before then but you can add Party song to the list of "electro" songs. Don't know when Party song was done though...

I like the overall sound of it, but they took out so many of the original synthesizer lines and didn't replace them with anything worthwhile (or anything at all).

Love this version. Has anyone else got the Popjustice compilation yet?

Although it is mixed, there's virtually no overlap with the songs before and afterwards so I think if you ripped it you'd have virtually the complete song.

four Barfly versions were performed on XFM a couple of years ago: Rent, Opportunities (Let's make lots of money)., Flamboyant + West End girls. You can still download them here:

I don't get it. Why did they make all these unique mixes for Barfly, but not release them?

Who says they won't do just that, sometime in the future?
