I know the Boys have previously been on U.S. daytime and late-night network television, and they've also been on U.S. syndicated TV, but was "Dancing with the Stars" the first time they've appeared on a major U.S. network program during primetime (7 to 11 p.m.)?
Personally, I doubt it, but then again I can't think of any other primetime U.S. network appearances. Does anyone know for sure? (They appeared on Arsenio Hall, but I don't know whether that was syndicated and/or late-night.)
Thanks!

I've confirmed that "The Arsenio Hall Show" was both syndicated and late-night, so that doesn't count. So I'm still thinking that "Dancing with the Stars" may have been PSB's first major network primetime appearance on U.S. television. Considering that it comes 20 years after "West End Girls," that's astounding!

I know the Jay Leno show is technically a late-night show, but surely it must qualify as a major show, comparable to anything shown in prime-time.

ET, I believe, is syndicated. I also remember seeing something about Behavior on one of those tabloid-y entertainment shows that aren't on anymore--it was something weird like, two huge british bands come back with new records, and it was PSB and Breathe (!), and I remember it being interspersed with the videos for What have I done to deserve this? and Breathe's song Say a Prayer and a good helping of the song Does she love that man? (Wonder what ever happened to Breathe, their singer was pretty good IMHO.)
They would have been *mentioned* at the Grammy Awards back when To Step Aside was nominated--I remember watching that but I don't think they were there. The design Grammy nods probably wouldn't have made it onto the main program.
