Pet Shop Boys' American tour which began in Montreal on October 10th ended last night at the Monterrey Arena, Mexico. The next PSB show will be in Edinburgh on December 31st. (No truth in the rumour that Robbie Williams will be guesting there!)
Two weeks ago The Sun reported that Robbie would be spending Christmas with Kylie Minogue - after finishing the Australian leg of his tour - and then going on holiday. Make your mind up, Newton!
KYLIE MINOGUE has invited ROBBIE WILLIAMS to have Christmas dinner at her place Down Under. It’s a lovely image. Two pop stars pulling a cracker over some delicious moist turkey breast.
Kylie has agreed to join Robbie on stage when he performs the last show of his world tour in her home town of Melbourne on December 18. Her own rescheduled Showgirl tour — cancelled when she fell ill with cancer last year — finishes in the same city the night before Robbie’s gig.
So she will be in top form when she joins him on stage to do their duet Kids and possibly some other tracks too. In return for the opportunity to sing with the Robster she’s asked him to come and spend Christmas Day with the Minogues.
Imagine that. Being sandwiched between Kylie and DANNII (if she makes it home too). Every man’s festive fantasy. It will be a very special affair, with Kylie’s mum Carol and dad Ron welcoming extended family and friends including her boyfriend OLIVIER MARTINEZ to a traditional feast.
My computer whizzes have imagined what Kylie and Rob might look like together on Christmas morning. A source said: “Robbie had let it be known that he was staying on in Australia for a holiday after his tour had ended. And when Kylie heard about it she couldn’t bear the thought of him spending Christmas alone — or in a hotel room. So she has extended an invitation to come to the family home for lunch. He’ll be treated to a huge Minogue welcome from her extended family.”
Kylie, who launched her own perfume called Darling in Sydney yesterday, takes to the stage in the city on Saturday night. It is the first time she has done a Showgirl gig since her treatment for breast cancer. The tour was cancelled on the eve of its Aussie leg last year after her diagnosis. It ends in Melbourne with six shows.
I don't believe a word Victoria Newton says. There was an excellent article in Private Eye about six months ago listing some of her biggest clangers. The best one has to be when she said in early 2005 that Madonna's new album would be a rock-based album. Later that year "Confessions on a DANCE floor" was released.

I haven't heard "She's Madonna", but since "No Regrets" became a so really good song IU think it's good too and of course Robbie's song "We're the Pet Shop Boys" are really good. I really love it!
