At least one of the PSB knows the meaning of professionalism. Hats off to Neil for keeping it together. Feel really sorry for him. Chris undeniably deserved a smack there.
As much as I like Chris and his Cool Persona, He was a bit of a Premadonna here!
I've also met him a couple of times and he can be very cold and stuck up.

Well, my third-favourite, after Neil and Jimmy Somerville.Fugitive1979 wrote:Boy Strange wrote:I once went up to him backstage and he punched me in the stomach. When I fell to the floor he stamped on my faceI bet he didn't even apologise. Although not many people can say they have been assaulted by their favourite popstar.

I find neil's reaction just before and after we see chris walking off very interesting. he does this little eye movement before, and then right after -- he looks really agitated. and he doesn't smile until much later, during the interview.
in the book PSB in America, Chris Heath writes that at some point after all the brouhaha back in the hotel etc Neil was livid about it all and really going on and on about chris and about breaking up. then, a bit later, chris walks in through the door and it was as if -- POOF -- all was okay. Neil cannot stay mad at chris for long. I thought that was a really interesting and telling point, IMO it's why they are still together. there's clearly something very nice and very good and very joyful between them personally. whatever it is, it cushions them against all the bad things that can and do happen to split groups up.
