*LOL* I'm right now wondering what would have happened if you got as far as track 9; Casanova In Hell

It sounds like the ultimate song that a male lover doesn't wanna hear while making love

Forum rule 4.

Do not make posts of a graphic sexual nature. This site is primarily a place to discuss the Pet Shop Boys and not a place for 'sex chat' and/or innuendo, even in the Off Topic forum. Note the forums are open to people of all ages and as such the content should be suitable for all to read.

I've edited this thread to clean it up a bit. I don't mind that the question is asked, but feel some of the references made were very crude.

Please, if you're going to ask sensitive questions, try to keep it as clean as you can.

Thanks.

This is my last contribution to the community. The administrator's censorship I find far more offensive than anything which was written in my post. Did anyone complain about the words that were used? Fair enough if they did, that's what living in a democracy is about, but I don't wish to partake in a forum of one of my favourite acts which is policed along current US/ UK Government 'nanny' policy. I suggest the administrator applies for a job at NBC/ Fox or if he doesn't fancy the move, The Daily Mail.

It's been fun, annoying, informative, frustrating and, ultimately, censorily inhibiting.
Special "bye" to "!" (for the DJ Hell mix of West End Girls (that'll get edited) and Janet Street Porter for being funny as f***!
Goodbye Kimphilby.

The rule was there long before you made your post. There aren't many forums that are as light on censorship as this one and I a member of quite a few to make that comparison.

Sorry you feel you have to go.

Nope. Actually, might have had the ambient mix of 'We all feel better in the dark' on once when I've been getting busy, but I wouldn't want to commit.
I went to the cinema with a girlfriend once to see some Disney cartoon (can't remember which, but anyway), and my mate and fellow pet shop boy fan was the projectionist. The daft sod only decided to put on his own CD before the film started so about 200 kids and mums and dads were treated to both remixes of We all feel better in the dark !!

Was rather funny to see the rather concerned looks on all the parents faces.

Well said & done Steve. We don't want this kind of filth on such a great forum. If i recall, the Pet Shop Boys Official site closed it's "Comments" page due to this sort of behaviour.

Steve, yes, this censorship feels kind of intimidating.

The truth is PSB music isn't sexually provocative, is more dance, get high, live for the moment, memories, whtver, but not sex. How in the world would a woman get aroused w/that??? Well I'm talking from a straight woman's point of view.

Bon Jovi, Creed,Live and those where you can feel the "male" passion getting into you, oh well, maybe Neil's voice is way too nasal, "kiddie wine".

Wonder if "dream of rape" would be censored if not a PSB lyric

I was a bit surprised when they performed Boys and Girls live... all that reproducing, nasty blisters, doing girls like they're boys... all a bit colourful for Neil to be singing!

This story is evoke a long smile upon my face, thanks :D.
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)
