The official site has confirmed that they will be playing at the Cee'd Festival on January 5th 2007 at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid.

Haven't read details yet... don't think of it as a "summer festival", (ok not kidding, is winter  ) Guess it will be more a one-night PSB show (maybe as Edinbourgh + a couple of spanish supporter acts)

Is the same venue they did when Perfomance & Nightlife (indoor, that's it).
The main supporting act (Fangoria) are truly devoted PSB fans...
Besides, next day is bank holiday in Spain.... it may be a magic nite

It sounds great! :boo:
Will the concert be a part of Fundamental tour or a concert with their best songs?

I've been already listening to Fangoria's songs, they are pretty electronic and will fit PSB very well. let me know what you think http://www.fangoria.es

Well, is not exactly the same venue... it cought fire and burned to ashes years ago, and has been completely rebuilt. Hope the acoustics have been improved, it never was a good place for pop concerts, actually.

I wish they'd stop doing all those festivals - give us a proper concert where we don't have to wait in the cold through hours of terrible bands just for a half-length Pet Shop Boys concert. I understand they probably pay well but I wouldn't mind paying a higher ticket price for a dedicated concert in nice surroundings.

In Denmark they seem to have given up on regular concerts, more or less, which is a real shame, since not all Danes enjoy the festival concept as much as it would seem.

Agree with Joemoz.

All us fans who are over 30 certainly don't want to spend a weekend with boozy teens just for a half-hour PSB set.

Well... Here, I came just about two hours (being out of the crowd most of that time)before their summer festival concert , and we got 90 minutes long show.
