I found just weird the pure fact that an unknown band create a song named "We're the PSB"...then, even weirder when months later the PSB themselves covered it just doing an imitation of the original, and then, short time later, Robbie Williams doing it too!! We're the Pet Shop Boys! Everybody seems to be the Pet Shop Boys! Isn´t this TOO weird?
RObbie's production feels a bit "heavier" production wise to me though the difference I hear is slight.
