Eric Prydz is the man

#1 Post by Actually »

After listening to Eric Prydz sensational remix of Pink Floyd's classic Another Brick in the wall, i was wondering what Pet Shop Boys classic hit would you like to see Eric or any other DJ/Remixer give their treatment to ?

Yeah, Eric Prydz does some good remixes. Some of them seem to sound similar, but they're still good ;)
Latest Remix: Domino Dancing ^^

I quite like Eric Prydz, but I know better remixers. If you wanna pick a hot name nowadays, you would need to ask Axwell. Stuart Price also needs to remix a PSB track sooner or later!

Prydz is good, but there are lots of people doing the same remix-heaven type thing

My fav remix from the 80s would have to be ... Uniting Nations - Out Of Touch

Stuart Price, no doubt. Also, I guess, Almighty team should work on another PSB remix!
"I think it’s an amazingly good album, I’ve got to be honest with you. It’s one of the albums I feel most proud of. But for people who don’t really know us, and have a sort of an idea about us, ‘Electric’ is more what the Pet Shop Boys are meant to be."
(Neil Tennant, speaking about "Elysium" on the eve of "Electric" release.)

Eric Prydz and M-Factor made very similar remixes on Miracles and Minimal...

I think Almight is good for pop/dance remixes... but, they're too sugary sweet - you feel sick after having too many :p

Oh, I forgot what we're talking about - those damned death-metal band "Pet Shop Boys", indeedly :D! As for the mixes - it's like a coffee: I prefer some sugar in my cup, even a surplus couple of spoons* - rather than vinegar in (as a Tiga's execution of Minimal). But, of course, I would like to taste new and pleasant flavour!
And, by the way, Almighty did no so many PSB' mixes to make me feel surfeited.
(*I actually sip a saccharine coffee, often cold as well .)
