I rank the albums as folows
1. Very/Relentless
2. Please
3. Introspective
4. Actually
5. Potemkin
Fundamental was, to my ears, a wasted opportunity. 'Ingteral' was too little, too late, and the singles shouldn't have been. Mind you. I've never been that great a fan of Behaviour either; other than Being Boring and Jealously - which are masterpieces - what else is on there?

Well, in my personal opinion.
Introspective
Actually
Please
Fundamental
Very
Behaviour
Nightlife
Bilingual
Release
But I think the most correct (talking about the quality of the songs of the albums):
Actually
Introspective
Please
Fundamental
Very
Behaviour
Nightlife
Bilingual
Release
As you can see, I don't see behaviour as great as people think. PSB are better making up-tempo songs.

Very Relentless

Easily their best album since Very and songs like I made my excuses and left and Luna Park are amongst the finest they've ever written. I am biased anyway because the earlier albums came out when I was younger and so probably mattered more. I'm too cynical now to annoint an album their best ever...

It's funny, but Fundamental is not what I was expecting this time last year. I think i thought it would be some 80's Hi-NRG record. Whereas, six months after first hearing it I think its actually quite chilled out. It even sounds a bit like it could be from a musical.
I do like it though, a lot. And it ranks quite high up my list:
1. Behaviour
2. Very
3. Actually
4. Nightlife
5. Fundamental
6. Introspective
7. Bilingual
8. Please
9. Release
Though not an official release, Battleship Potemkin would rank quite high up there too- has really grown on me this year the more I have listened to it.

I think I would put Fundamental about 3 or 4 at the moment, definitely still behind Behaviour and Very at least. You know I don't really listen to the early albums all that much these days (apart from Behaviour), I'm more likely to throw on Nightlife or Bilingual. I haven't listened to Release in ages, and I guess I would still put that at the bottom of the pile. It's just too hard to rank them all, depending on my mood they could be entirely different from one day to the next...apart from Behaviour which has stayed steadfastly on top since 1991.
