New Album of Killers is one of the best 2006 year, read my mind is one of the best their song - great!!!
I've been around the world for a number of reasons. I've seen it all the change of seasons, and I, my lord, may I say nothing?

Lleonard Pler wrote:Amazing news. I would have prefered if they had remixed "Bones" (or "Somebody told me" from the previous album), but I'm sure it will be a good remix anyway. It's good that they remix groups with a young fanbase, maybe some of them will discover PSB's music thanks to that.
What other groups with a young fanbase have they remixed?

This is by far the best song on the album and a great choice--interesting didn't Brandon reply to Neil's comment that he was worried the Killers were trying to be less pop that Read My Mind would be a full out pop song, on his site?

Tricky song to remix, hope it doesn't get the lazy 'Girls and Boys' treatment. It'll have to keep the sublime guitar line. Great news though, can't wait to hear. Hope it sounds AMAZING

I had to check who they are ...
The Killers ... knew by name or hearsay but
didn't know what kind of music they do.

http://www.thekillers.co.uk

Now I know. Interesting ...

The cover pic reminds me of 'Domino Dancing'
btw. The bus in the desert ...

Pani, just give a listen to "Somebody told me" for a taste on the best The Killers can be. :)

Spectacular, it's my favourite song off Sam's Town. Is it out of the question to ask if the mix would be the official single? It couldn't stray too far off the song, then, but I wouldn't imagine it could possibly be so. If it is, it could be a huge break in the US market for them, and perhaps The Killers would be nice enough to help them out. Extremely doubtful, but I can dream.

That's because those bands have an over-inflated opinion of themselves. Also, would PSB really stoop to that level... ;)

Update: according to the release schedule on UKmix.org, the new Killers single is scheduled for February 19th.

BBC Radio 1 has the track on its C-list and mentions a February 26th release date.

Those bands do not need to work with Pet Shop Boys and Pet Shop Boys do not need to work with such huge bands either!
