Pet Shop Boys working on new songs

#1 Post by ! »

Details of concert plans for this the first half of this year will be announced on this site in the next week or so.
Meanwhile, last Friday Pet Shop Boys performed their first concert of the year at the Palacio de Deportes in Madrid where the set list was as follows: God willing/Left to my own devices, Suburbia, Can you forgive her?, Minimal/Shopping, Rent, Heart, Opportunities/Integral, Paninaro, Numb, Se a vida e/Domino dancing, Flamboyant, Always on my mind, Streets have no name, West End girls, Sodom and Gomorrah Show, So hard/It's a sin, Go West.
For the next few weeks, Neil and Chris will be in their studio working on new songs. In his capacity as consultant producer, Neil is also "nipping into the studio" to hear tracks from Rufus Wainwright's new album, "Release the Stars", which is being mixed in London by Marius de Vries and is due for release in May.

-------------

I'd like PSB to work with him. He's done some great stuff, not just the Rufus Wainwright Want albums.

They're writing an album for West End Girls, the popular Swedish pop combo.
Thank God it's Mum's night off

Yes, but it means we may well be getting an EP at some point. Or, better still, this could be the start of an eventual new album. :D
