Lovely Neil and Jake Shears (Live) on Youtube

#1 Post by Rent »

Stumbled across this. Apologies if posted elsewhere.

Quality not that great though (& careful with your necks!). But seemingly a different arrangement for Love Comes Quickly!

PS: And by god, this reminds me why I ever fell in love with Neil's voice in the first place! *swoons*

Now I know Jake Shears is a talented lad, but he appears to have this ability to stand horizontally without falling over.

Genius!

Sound quality is poor, but it's really how It Can't Come Quickly Enough suddenly sounds like a PSB song, when Neil sings his parts.

Thanks Rent! The sound is quite good but the image :( (poor my neck!). The one who recorded this must be a Jake's maniac since the focus is only on him. (where's Neil?)

Yup, thought so as well.. They must not have been a Neil fan :(

Oh well, at least we could hear his angelic voice.

dVTB raised a valid point. Made me think that a PSB record without Neil's voice is not all that... I wonder if I would have liked them as much. I tend to think not, actually.

The only bad thing is that the focus is on Jake. But Neil does appear every now and then.

It looks like this worked out really well. I think that's one of the best SS songs. I tend to like their slow(er) songs better than the fast ones.
